Family Travel to Hawaii: The Ultimate Island Adventure
Hawaii truly sets the bar with its mind-blowing diversity. One day you’re soaking up the sun on golden beaches, the next you’re trekking through lush rainforests or gazing at molten lava flowing from active volcanoes. As your plane descends, the panoramic view of emerald valleys and sapphire waters will leave you speechless. Nestled within these breathtaking landscapes are luxurious resorts and delectable dining spots. No matter how long your stay, it’ll never feel long enough. You’ll leave already dreaming of your next adventure in this island paradise.
*Traveling from almost anywhere in the mainland to Hawaii involves a long haul; for us, flying from the Midwest to Big Island, then departing from Maui, meant enduring 12-hour flights each way. Given this, you’ll want to plan for at least a week in Hawaii, even if you’re only exploring one island. We spent 13 days visiting both Big Island and Maui, which was just perfect to really dive into what each unique spot had to offer.
